Disposition: Rose is both civilized and barbaric at the same
time. She can speak in very cultured tones if she wishes from her merchant
background but is usually very straight forward and uses relatively low
status language. She like to have amorous rolls with both male and female
although in general prefers males. She has a strong hatred for slavers
and considers them the lowest beings in the world. She would likely attempt
to kill any that she could if she thought she could get away with. She
also has a hatred for her family and especially her father. While it is
not likely that she would kill him, it would probably trigger a fight or
flight reaction from her.

Appearance:
She as an attractive but strong looking women. She is only slightly
taller than average for a women and despite being muscular, still looks
quite feminine. She has black hair with blue highlights which she wear
down to her back. She also has very dark blue eyes and fairly dark skin.
She prefers to wear lightweight and open clothing.
While rarely seen, she has a rose tattoo on her buttox. The tattoo
is of fine workmanship but is not magical. The rose is a mixture of black
and red with a green stem. The stem has several thorns with the tattoo
of drawing blood.

Armor of Note:
Ring of Ironhide: Confers a natural A.R. Rating of 16 on the
wearer. Any strikes below the magical A.R. bounce off harmlessly.
Magical Items:
Armbands of the Fireball: Silver Armband that have a large ruby
each. They cannot be removed from the wearers forearms. They are Indestructable
and can be used to parry as a small shield. They can fire 3 fireballs each
per day for a total of 6 fireballs each day. Damage: Fire Ball: 3D6 + 2
Range: 40 ft
Eye of the Cat: Crystalline monocle which enables the wearer
to see clearly in the dark. Gives night vision with a range of 40 feet
(12.2) meters.
Magical Boots of Fleetness: Soft leather knee high boots. Boots
double maximum speed (Speed 38 on her) and doubles leaping distance.
Ring of Invisibility: Can turn wearer invisible for a maximum
of Three times of 10 minutes each day. Treat as invisibility simple.
Gauntlets of Quick Hands: Magical Gloves that the wearer one
addition attack per melee, +1 to initiative, and skills require a high
dexterity can be performed 10% faster without error. Both gloves must be
worn for them to work. Gloves have an A.R. Rating of 10, Impervious to
Fire, and has 25 SDC.
Magical Scabbards with alarm: Scabbards are blue with gold.
There is a scabbard for the long sword and the gladius with a scabbard
for a dagger as part of each sword scabbard. The scabbards will yell "Stop
Thief" if anyone attempts to steal the weapons or scabbard. See Mystic

Rose's History (Written in her words):
I was born the youngest of five children. My father was a relatively
wealthy merchant and our family live in the capital city of the Western
Empire. My father sold luxury clothing to nobility and other wealthy merchants
who wanted to be nobility themselves. As befitted a child of a rich merchant,
I was pampered and lived in luxury myself. I was raised to become the wife
of a noble or wealthy merchant. Both my father and mother considered themselves
to be demi-nobility and I now assume that my parents lived outside of their
means.
When I was eleven, I stated hearing my parents arguing about money.
It got worse over the ensuing year. Just after my twelve birthday, I was
taken away from home by my father. I did not know where I was going but
I soon found out differently. I assume that he figured that the fastest
way to clear up his debts would be to sell his daughter to pay for them.
I was sold to a wealthy gentleman who wanted a tender young girl for sex
and I was raped repeatedly over the next year. The shock of the situation
was incredible and I was half out of my mind. At about that time, I had
my first bleeding and become ripe for child. I became pregnant after a
few months after my first bleeding. Because I was so young, I could not
have a child without help and my insides were ripped up when my son was
born. As a result, I no longer have bleeding and cannot have other children.
A few months after my son was born, the man who kept me as a slave lost
all of his money gambling. As a result, he decided he needed to sell his
slaves. I was sold to the gladiator pits for sexual services and my son
was sold elsewhere. I did not know where he was sold to at the time.
After losing the only person I treasured, my son, I was ready to commit
suicide or kill anyone I could. I was determined that I would not be a
sex slave again and I fought to prevent myself from being raped. The owner
of the gladiator troop was impressed by my untrained fighting ability and
decided to offer the chance for me to become a gladiator myself. He decided
a while back that a female gladiator would be a large draw and I was trained
how to fight and how to act. As fate had it, I was quite agile and learned
quickly. We traveled to various large cities and put on shows. Most fights
were staged with no one getting seriously hurt but in some cases we fought
real duels. I became friends with many of the people in the troop. While
at first, I could not deal with the touch of a male but over the years,
I was able to deal with it and I had several lovers among members of the
troop. Like the owner expected, I was a large draw and earned a lot of
money for him. I earned so much for him that after four years, he decided
to revoke my slave status and allow me to go free. He also gave me a small
amount of money so I could survive.
My first goal was to find my son but that was far more difficult than
I expected it to be. I looked myself but I simply did not have the resources
to find out the information I needed. I foundered for a while and did not
know what I should do next. I finally decided that the only way I could
find him was to enter service with a merchant or noble with assistance
with finding my son being one of the requirements.
I ended up working for an Elvish noble who had initially carved a nation
out of the Old Kingdom and the non human barbarians that rule much of it.
This elf was surprisingly capable and with the help of his wife, a human
wizard, managed to make their nation fairly safe. The problem was that
he was still fighting a losing battle and so he decided to move his population
to an unoccupied island. He needed warriors to do protect his people while
they were moved and that is what I was initially recruited for. When that
was finished, I went on several 'missions' to recover magic artifacts for
the Elven Lord and though treasure recovered, I was able to gather enough
money to outfit myself well and get enough money together to purchase my
son back from slavery.
I got the Elven Lords wife to do a magical search for my son and was
able to discover that he was a household slave in a nobles house in the
Western Empire. I went off to recover him and I was able to return successfully
with my son after many adventures.
